FAQ
Q. Why Buy A Wrap?
Let’s assume a wrap costs $3000 (which typically it costs less for the average sized vehicle) and assume that you (the customer) will keep the wrap on your vehicle for the full warranty period of 5 years. (For arguments sake we will assume most business owners only lease the vehicle for 4 years).....
So, now we have a cost of $3k and a time frame of 4 years. The average vehicle in a major metro area will have over 700,000 impressions per month. So now what we do is calculate the monthly cost of your wrap based on the numbers…..$62.50! Keep in mind the other benefit factors of a wrap: the retention rate of this medium is extremely high. Many people will remember a wrap much more than any other form of outdoor advertising. Also the targeting of this advertising is unsurpassed….why? Typically a small business owner will drive their company vehicle directly in their target market area further concentrating the advertising.
We often challenge anyone to find an advertising medium at $63/month that can compete. Most people can’t even advertise in the classified section of a newspaper for that amount! Even if they did, what is the circulation of that paper? Is it targeted to your specific area? No way!
Think about this: For the price of a cup of coffee you can be advertising, targeted mind you, to literally thousand of people per day! Another fact to consider: Fuel costs are at all time highs. Whether you realize it or not, you are ALREADY paying for advertising using your vehicle. If you do not have a wrap on your vehicle you are actually burning money as you drive. Capitalize on your company vehicle or fleets by maximizing return on capital that you are already spending on fuel consumption. Keep in mind is that this type of advertising is not like radio, print, or television. It cannot be turned off or simply change the channel! Many of our wrap clients also take advantage of their wraps in areas that traditionally cost huge sums of money. Such venues are at trade shows, conventions, and grand openings. Many times an advertiser will have to get on a list well in advance to advertise at a premier event or location. Example: lets say you want to advertise in Times Square New York. Most people can’t even imagine the cost! A wrap owners dream, you just drive down right through it anytime you want!

A. We offer a 5 year manufacturer warranty on our wraps for material applied to painted surfaces and one year for material applied to window surfaces.

Q. Will you wrap a leased vehicle?
A. Yes, like any other vehicle, the wrap can easily be removed without any damage at the end of the lease.
Q. What is involved with the Design Phase?
A. This is the critical part of the vehicle wrap process. Communication is essential to ensure your vehicle wrap is designed properly per your needs. A complete understanding of the overall project is a must. The design must be done taking into account that the images used need to be high resolution. File types must be adhered to per our specifications and the wrap design must be properly scaled to the vehicle. We encourage our clients to focus on the purpose of the vehicle wrap. We have found that simple but deliberate design works best. Please click here to review our Designs an Procedures specifications.

Q. What if I don’t have any high resolution artwork?
A. High-resolution artwork is available and can be purchased through various sources. You can also purchase Royalty free artwork, you can then use it in all of your marketing material. We utilize several websites that provide high resolution artwork and images. Often, high resolution artwork can be attained through a corporate office of most franchises. Keep in mind that we can assist you in designing a complete wrap from concept to completion which includes dealing with all of the high resolution artwork.
Q. Does a vehicle have to be a certain color to work?
A. Generally, no. A full wrap covers all the painted surfaces of a vehicle (roof when requested) and is an opaque material. Areas such as chrome bumpers, grilles and trim are generally not covered. Therefore, color generally does not matter. However, if you have a light vehicle and a dark wrap, edges and hinges may be slightly visible after installation. Same is true for the opposite. Please also keep in mind that window coverage is subject to local and state regulations.
Q. Who designs what the wrap will actually look like?
A. Our in-house designers will work closely with you to reach the look that fits your needs. We focus on the design printing and installation of your vehicle wrap. Our in-house designers are very experienced and utilize the most updated design software and latest computers.
Q. What happens when the graphics are removed?
A. In both the application and removal of vehicle wraps, the key is working with an experienced installer. iCandy rarely experiences problems with paint removal and therefore is a preferred vendor among many media and transit companies. Removal fees are additional.
Q. How and where do you install my wrap?
A. We can have our installers come to YOUR location (if you have a suitable indoor facility: generally about 4-5 ft around vehicle in enclosed area). We also have installation locations where you can bring your vehicle to get your wrap installed. Contact your sales representative if you do not have a facility.
